Sunday 26 April Canberra Handmade goes virtual and we will be involved.

Handmade Canberra is a quarterly market held at EPIC in March, June, September and December, showcasing the best of Australian design and produce. Due to COVID 19 the March market was cancelled and instead Handmade held a virtual market, so successful was this that Julie and her team have arranged to hold a second to celebrate Mothers Day.

Our great winter wine special continues buy six bottles of our 2013 Merlot Cabernet ‘Baci’ and you will only spend $15 a bottle, free shipping any were in Australia. This wine is the second in the series that celebrates the short life of our beautiful  chocolate lab ‘Baci”. Baci always knew when the grapes were perfect for picking! We hope you enjoy this wine as much as we enjoyed Baci.

Meet us at the Wahroonga Food + Wine Festival it is in its 7th year!

SUNDAY 27 October 2019

11am to 5pm

The Wahroonga Food & Wine Festival will return to Wahroonga Park, Wahroonga on Sunday 27 October 2019, 11am – 5pm.

We have carefully selected a  range of our exquisite wines for you to try and buy and Helen will be their to tell you all about them. As well as Twisted River there will be 0ver 30 other  Australian wineries, as well as a huge selection of local produce and gourmet food stalls.

The organisers have also  introduced new culinary experiences this year, with signature dishes from The Brisket and Brawn BBQ Co, Meat & Clever, Dog Daze Burgers, Berlin Bangers, French Cheese, delicious Sofrito Paella, FigJam Creperie and Gnocchi Gnocchi.

So as well as enjoying Twisted Rivers fine wines you can also enjoy a range of cheese platters, coffee brews, and Goose on the Loose gourmet foods. For dessert – Amsterdam Pancakes and Serendipity Ice Cream will again present their range of premium ice creams. If you fancy an espresso to tie it all together, Alexandria Roastery will be your go-to for a cup of brew.

Produce market stalls will line the flowerbeds and walkways offering a variety of products including Original Smoke & Spice Co, Loveshak, Ink & Weave, Tres Jollie, Honey Australia, Wine Stopper Australia, Persian Nougat, Cacaoette hand crafted chocolate Bowled Over Beverages, Tar 10, Signature Sauces, Linda’s original sweet chilli relish, Milnes of Mudgee, Hunter Valley Cheese, puddings from Pudding Lane and more, so buy your shopping basket from the ‘Market Basket’ and enjoy what our market has to offer.

The event is FREE and family friendly, with entertainment for all ages. Bring your friends and family to enjoy the live music on the rotunda stage with performances by talented local school and contemporary musicians and entertainers. For the little ones, there will be inflatable rides and our petting animal farm from the Southern Highlands.

Wine tasting glasses and ticket package start at $20 and are available for purchase from the Tasting Ticket Marquee. You can also pre purchase an online special wine tasting package at $37.50 and save time on the day and collect from our express lane pick up at the Tasting Ticket Marquee.

Winter in 2019 will see us, for the second year, teaming up with guest caterer Jude Taylor to hold a series of  monthly Sunday long lazy lunches. Each month will feature a different cuisine that we will match with some of Twisted River’s best wines.

HANDMADE CANBERRA MARKETS
23 – 24 March | 10 am – 4 pm

Twisted River Wines will again be holding a stall at one of our favourite events, Handmade Canberra.

Handmade leads the way on homewares, fashion and food with up to 30,000 people attending the event from Canberra, and afar.

Held at EPIC in Canberra, each event has approx 250 local and interstate designers and producers who craft their goods here in Australia. It is a great place to buy unique artisan products.
